If you had asked me three months ago what I would be doing in the foreseeable future as a career, I would have had no idea what to say. Even though I was always passionate about photography, I didn’t know how to make it a sustainable career path. StudioOnCloud entered my life at a perfect time as if the stars had aligned perfectly.
I’m Srijan Someshwar, and this is my experience working with StudioOnCloud!
An Opportunity!
One day at work, my boss Mr. Vikas Dutt, the founder of StudioOnCloud gave me the opportunity to assist him for a commercial shoot. I agreed to it immediately. This was something I was waiting for, and assisting a brilliant photographer like Vikas Sir was beyond exciting.
On the day of the shoot, we reached the location in the morning, and I was amazed to see the number of things that go behind the scenes of a commercial shoot!
The shoot was for a well-known pharmaceutical brand, and my job for the day was to record some BTS (Behind the Scenes) footage of the shoot. I was told that there were two well-known, talented actors we were supposed to shoot with the product, and was briefed on the shot requirements. Then I saw the camera, and my jaw dropped in excitement! It was a Hasselblad, a camera I’ve always wanted to use. And my wish came true! Vikas sir encouraged me to click a few pictures using the Hasselblad. It was truly an amazing day, where I learnt so many new things, shot a lot of BTS footage, and most importantly, had a lot of fun! Thanks to StudioOnCloud, I had an unforgettable experience.
